Acts 13:15 After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have a word of exhortation for the people, please speak.”
So often we see that successfully accomplishing God’s will involves paying a P____________________ C____________.
Three very important things about ministry.
I don’t think any of us will ever be evangelists on the level of Paul of Barnabas. Paul was the greatest evangelist in history and yet look at how often he failed to make people believe.
Getting run out of town would be enough to make most people want to give up and stay home. That is not how it works and it is not how we should respond.
Take Away Lesson: Ministry is difficult and there are no guarantees. We need to witness to others and share the message of the gospel and trust that God will take care of the results.
Acts 14:3 So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.
