Revelation Part 4
(Revelation Chapters 4&5, Ezekiel 1:26-28, Genesis 49:9-10, Daniel 7:9-10, Daniel 7:13)
Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
The T_____________ in Heaven.
John is being S_____________________ invited into heaven to receive the instruction that Jesus has for him.
The S___________ and the L_________________.
There are a couple of things to take note of here. There is writing on B________ sides of the scroll, and it is S_______________ with seven seals.
First, the fact that there is writing on both sides indicates that the scroll is C________________________, nothing can be added to it.
Second, a scroll was sealed to prevent U_______________________ people from reading it. Intact seals show that the scroll has not been tampered with or prematurely read by the wrong person.
Think of the scroll as the deed or title to the earth that has been stolen by evil and sinful squatters, and with every break of one of the seals of the scroll, he will take back and R________________ a portion of what rightfully belongs to God.
Take Away Lesson: We have been given a glimpse into the very heart of heaven and a warning that the day of judgement is coming. Let’s use both of these gifts to make sure we are prepared.
Revelation 5:6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
