What is a Church and Why should I go there

(Acts 11:26, Acts 14:27, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Matthew 16:18, Hebrews 10:24-25, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:25-26, Colossians 3:16, Proverbs 24:6, 1 John 1:3, Romans 12:1)

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

What is a church?

First of all, the church is not a B________________________.

The church is the P_________________, who gather in Jesus’ name to teach and to learn; to love and to fellowship; to worship God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), and to reach out to others who are in need physically and spiritually.

Why should I go to church?

Because Jesus T______________ you to.

Perhaps the most important reason for coming to church is to W______________ God.

Does it matter where I go to church?

Take Away Lesson: The Word of God needs to be the absolute priority in everything that happens in church. It is not about perfecting the worship experience, it is about perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
